RhinoAg - 2nd Shift Experienced Press Brake Operator

RhinoAg is currently accepting applications to fill the position of 2nd shift Fabricator with Press Brake experience, 4/10 work schedule Monday - Thursday 3:30pm - 2:00am. Base pay commensurate with experience but not less than $12.20 per hour. Note also that our 2nd shift compensation package includes $1.00 per additional shift pay putting total compensation for this role at a minimum of $13.20 per hour. This position is at our facility in Gibson City, Illinois (located 30 miles northwest of Champaign, IL and 30 miles east of Bloomington, IL).
Under direct supervision, the 2nd shift Fabricator performs duties to set-up, adjust and operate a limited variety of fabrication machines and processes work orders using blueprints and routers of the designated parts. Also analyzes specifications and computes dimensions according to knowledge of product, subsequent processing, shop mathematics and layout procedures.

Essential Functions of the Job:
Follows all company and departmental safety rules including proper use of personal protective equipment
Performs all required quality checks to assure products conform to company standards including first piece part inspections
Maintains 5's standards of housekeeping in work area
Meets production requirements
Operates a limited variety of fabrication machines that may include CNC equipment, to cut and shape components to specified dimensions
Performs Back flushing to relive raw material inventory
Performs basic set-up and adjustment of machinery following standard procedures including proper adjustment of guards and safety devices
Lifts and positions parts into the machine manually or with a hoist
Operates overhead crane
Assistsother employees in set up and operation of machines
Performs daily inspection and preventive maintenance on machinery
Assists in training coworkers in proper work procedures and safety as necessary
Performs other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's):
Shop math required
Utilize computer to back flush material
Must be able to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments
Good communication skills preferred
Must be able to operate overhead crane
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED certificate preferred or work experience in a related occupation
Knowledge of machine processes, maintenance and equipment operation essential
Working Conditions:
Must be able to work overtime, including occasional weekends - note that most 4/10 overtime is worked on Friday
Must be physically capable of standing/working 8+ hour shift(s)
Must be able to lift, carry and/or move up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
Must be able to work in non-climate controlled areas
Must be able to wear required safety equipment

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
