On-Board Services, a Family-Owned U. S. Based Professional Staffing and Search Firm, is in search for an Administrative Assistant for a for Leading Chemical Fortune 500 Client in Gibson, IL.

The Administrative Assistant will be performing administrative duties for Corporate Staff such as:
  • Supporting one or more members of management and/or staff in a business or functional unit.
  • Administrative responsibilities include calendaring, document preparation and management, correspondence, travel arrangements, and meeting/travel coordination.
Pay Rate: $15 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM
Location: Gibson City, IL 60936
Duration- 12 Months

Qualifications:
  • Holds at least High School Diploma or GED.
  • 3 Years of office administration experience.
  • Work generally requires knowledge of company and/or business/functional practices, policies, programs and/or product line.
  • Experience utilizing MS Office Suite.
Responsibilities:
  • Resolves routine and non-routine inquiries
  • Maintains confidentiality
  • Review vouchers, requisitions, purchase orders and other routine transaction documents for completeness and accuracy which may require a variety of approaches due to numerous accounts or forms
  • Receive incoming mail and route for internal processing
  • Receive/route incoming calls
  • Welcome plant visitors and assist as needed
  • Make simple corrections on transaction documents (e. g. adjustments to previous entries) as needed with supervisor approval
  • Code documents of a routine nature by referring to lists, manuals or other reference sources
  • Prepare statements and reports that are factual in nature and that require computations (e. g., totals, sub-totals, balances)
  • Prepare collection reports and/or bank deposits
  • Enter, store and/or retrieve information in established manual or automated record storage systems

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
