RN - Medication Renewal Center

Using the nursing process, assesses; evaluates; prioritizes; and manages requests received for medication order renewals. All requests will be responded to, based on level of urgency as stated by the person initiating the request and according to established protocols.
  • Performs health assessments and patient compliance with medication via thorough review of the patient's electronic medical record.
  • Communication of medication order to designated pharmacies via verbal or electronic means.
  • Provides general health information using approved references including, but not limited to, providing individual and group health and wellness education.
  • Insures documentation of care is complete and accurate.
  • Supports maintenance and completeness of patient's electronic medical record, including medication reconciliation.
  • Review medication renewal requests received from pharmacy “ fax or phone call
  • Review medication renewal requests received from patient “ phone call or MyCarle
  • Verify prescription and refill status with pharmacy
  • Notify pharmacies of any discontinued or changed medication to reduce pharmacological errors
  • Review appointment and lab work history for compliance
  • Notify provider office of med adherence concerns
  • Review medication prior authorizations for Carle primary care, convenient care and emergency room

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
