Fabricator I - 2nd Shift
DetailsEssential Functions of the Job:
1.
Follows all company and departmental safety rules including proper use of personal protective equipment2.
Performs all required quality checks to assure products conform to company standards including first piece part inspections3.
Maintains 5s standards of housekeeping in work area4.
Meets production requirements5.
Operates a limited variety of fabrication machines that may include CNC equipment, to cut and shape components to specified dimensions6.
Performs Back flushing to relive raw material inventory7.
Performs basic set-up and adjustment of machinery following standard procedures including proper adjustment of guards and safety devices8.
Lifts and positions parts into the machine manually or with a hoist9.
Operates overhead crane10.
Assists other employees in set up and operation of machines11.
Performs daily inspection and preventive maintenance on machinery12.
Assists in training coworkers in proper work procedures and safety as necessary13.
Performs other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's):
1.
Shop math required2.
Utilize computer system to back flush material3.
Must be able to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments4.
Good communication skills preferred5.
Must be able to operate overhead crane Education and
Experience:
1.
High school diploma or GED certificate preferred or work experience in a related occupation2.
Knowledge of machine processes, maintenance and equipment operation essential Working Conditions:
1.
Must be able to work overtime, including weekends2.
Must be physically capable of standing/working 8
hour shift(s)3.
Must be able to lift, carry and/or move up to 40 pounds on a regular basis4.
Must be able to work in non-climate controlled areas5.

Pay commensurate with experience but starts at no less than $17.
50 per hour.
