Summary:
The Maintenance Tech performs highly diversified duties including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting, and repair of machines, equipment and plant facilities.
This includes scheduled, unscheduled or emergency repairs.
Perform regular preventive maintenance which also includes maintaining supporting documentation for the PM's.
Job Duties and
Responsibilities:
oConduct maintenance according to skill level and pursuant to safety policies and procedures.
oRead and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
oDiagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make-adjustments.
oDetect faulty operations, defective material, and report those unusual situations to the facility maintenance manager.
oUtilizing Microsoft Office, order and schedule parts as well as jobs.
oPerform work in a safe manner and use Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) at all times.
oPerform other duties as assigned.
Minimum
Qualifications:
oHas completed or is working on a 2-year trades degree and/or 4 years of plant maintenance experience.
oHigh school diploma or equivalent.
oMust be 18 years of age.
oAble to read, write and speak English.
Bilingual capabilities are a plus.
oAble to communicate and take direction from Sanitation Manager and communicate effectively with line workers, Leads, Supervisors and Plant Manager.
oAttention to detail.
oLegible record-keeping and data entry skills.
oMust be highly motivated, flexible and have creative problem-solving abilities.
oAble to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
oWelding and fabrication, full understanding of 3 Phase electrical, tree phase motor controls.
Troubleshoot AC & DC drives.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
oManufacturing environment - exposure to a variety of machines, noise levels, and varying temperatures.
oDepending on which location, our environments can be very warm or refrigerated.
oTeam environment - must be able to work well with others and communicate in a respectful and professional manner.
oAbility to regularly lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
oMay be required to work weekend and night hours to fill in as needed.
